A 2016 National Young Arts Winner, Anastasia Magamedova, was one of the pianists participating in the First Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and Festival. A Gold Medalist of the 2013 International Keyboard Odyssiad and Festival Piano Competition, Magamedova, began studying the piano in Tajikistan. In January of 2015, she was also a finalist in the Yamaha USASU International Piano Competition for Young Pianists. Winner of several concerto competitions, Anastasia Magamedova has performed with the Utah Symphony and several times with the American West Symphony. She performed at Carnegie Hall (Weill Concert Hall) in 2014 and has also appeared in Alice Tully Hall. A recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, she has been featured on NPR’s From the Top and on BYU Radio twice. Anastasia studies at The Juilliard School with Matti Raekallio.
